Directions to LabSpace
We’ve been watching Twitter and it seems like a number of people might be scratching their heads as they try to find the best way to get to LabSpace tomorrow.
For those driving, LabSpace is easily accessible from Eastern Ave right at Pape. There is lots of parking available along both Pape and Eastern Ave. If you are taking the streetcar you’ll want to jump on the Queen car and get off at Pape and then walk a block or so south to Eastern. If you are taking the subway you’ll get off at Pape station and take the Pape 72 bus and get off at Eastern Ave.

Cuppies @ #HOHOTO
WOW! #HOHOTO was amazing tonight. Not only was CupcakeCampTO enthusiastically received, but man-o-man was it ever a great night. Looks like the event raised over $20,000+ for the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank – making #HOHOTO’s the 5th largest donation of the year. Good job #HOHOTO team!
As for us, we handed out almost 300 CupcakeCampTO flyers, talked to a ton of great people, and are more excited than ever for the big event. Tally-ho!
Making Lots of New Friends
As you may have noticed, us CupcakeCampTO-ers have started to put things into full gear over this past weekend. We’ve officially locked in our venue at Labspace Studio, we’ve printed out over 600 flyers to hand out tomorrow night at the first annual #HOHOTO holiday party, and we’ve made quite a few friends in a very short time.
It’s very encouraging to see the excitement and positive response to our first event. Word of mouth and link-love seem to be doing a pretty good job so far, and we love all the help. If you have friends, family, co-workers who love cupcakes please make sure you tell them about our afternoon of unconference fun. If they ask you what a CupcakeCamp is, just tell them its a modern version of an old fashion cupcake social – just way more fun.
The more the merry and remember – for every dozen cupcakes we need 11 eaters.
