Redpath Acts of Sweetness
The Redpath Acts of Sweetness truck is our way to say thank you to our community.
We are on the road year in, year out, giving away the famous Redpath cookies and brightening up lives.
The Acts of Sweetness team, Janet and Lisa, selected a recipe submitted by Redpath fans and baked this recipe together.

I was on a California adventure last week, which resulted in at stop at 2 of Beverly Hills’ famous cupcakeries: Sprinkles and Crumbs Bake Shop. The almighty Oprah raved about Sprinkles and now they’re world renowned. Crumbs originated in Manhattan and are known for their unique size (a cupcake & a half). They might be super popular, but are they really that great?
Sprinkles is nothing to write home about. I found them all sugar and no substance. They are the Krispy Kreme of cupcakes.
Crumbs, on the other hand, definitely has substance. They make some damn tasty cupcakes (we opted for the minis, so we could try more flavours). Their frostings aren’t too sugary and flavours are easily identifiable. Definitely the better cupcakery of the 2.
BUT…I know that there are WAY BETTER cupcakes out there…and I challenge you, dear cupcake bakers of Toronto, to show us cupcake enthusiasts what you’re (err, your cupcakes) are made of! It’s hard to believe that CupcakeCampKW is just 11 days away! CupcakeCampKW is being held at the Children’s Museum in Kitchener-Waterloo on Saturday September 19th from 11am – 2pm, in conjunction with the Children’s Museum’s 6th anniversary celebrations!
